Dr. Yuka is a Naturopathic Doctor and SOMA yoga instructor with a special interest in teaching people to take charge of their own health. She has clinical and research experience at the Yale-Griffin Prevention Research Center and the Center for Balance and Healing. She is trained in nutrition, hydrotherapy, phytotherapy, homeopathy, environmental and life-style counseling. She believes in the naturopathic philosophy of preventing illness, treating the whole person, encouraging self responsibility, and connecting people back to nature.
